I’m Vicky, the designer and maker behind Just a little Something, and I’ve always had a love for beautiful interiors and those special finishing touches that make a home feel truly individual. I create high-quality artificial floral designs and decorative pieces with a real emphasis on detail, individuality and just a little bit of glamour. I love working with beautiful flowers, luxurious ribbons, unusual embellishments and unexpected details to create pieces that you won’t find everywhere else. I’ve never wanted to mass-produce my designs. Even when I recreate a popular piece, I deliberately limit the number I make because, for me, part of the joy of owning something handmade is knowing that it feels a little bit special. I think that probably comes from my mum, who always told me, “Don’t be a sheep — you don’t have to follow everyone else.” It stuck with me, and it’s very much at the heart of what I create today.
